Reconciliation

This tab allows you to upload a file received by your bank, to automatically find and mark Mandate Transactions received as payed.

We support the following 2 types for SEPA-mandates:

  • camt053

  • camt054 (standard)

The file will be provided by your bank institute. Please consult your banking institute’s manual about how to proceed and successfully receive/edit a file.

Click on Choose File, find your file, choose either camt053 or camt054 as datatype (depending on your uploaded file), then press on the green button to upload the SEPA XML file.

Screenshot_1888.png ← Click on this button to refresh this tab, to see which transactions have been imported by your file.

The status also shows you visually over the entire process whether the process was completed or not.

After uploading a file, you can do/check the following things for each transaction:

  • Service Reference

  • Status

  • Date

  • Booking Date

  • Value Date

  • Sum

  • Currency (CRDT or DBIT)

  • Credit/Debit

  • Reversal (blank or true)

  • IBAN

  • BIC

In addition, a detailed list is displayed for the selected service reference (see screenshot above), in which you can see why an invoice could not be assigned, for example, under the Information column.

Here, the invoice is marked as paid on the basis of the payment reference and the exact match of the amount in your system. In addition, you receive a list of invoices as to why they could not be assigned.

You are given the option to manually assign transactions, which have not been successfully validated, with the corresponding invoice.

E.g. he invoice did not yet exist (and the payment was received up front), this function is handy to utilize.

Screenshot_1889.png → Click on this button to start the process, then find the correct invoice.

In case our system was not able to find the invoice (or the invoice did not yet exist (and the payment was received up front), you can try an automated process.

Screenshot_1890.png → Click on this button to start an automated process for a specific transaction, so the system will try to find an invoice this transaction belongs to.

You can also Screenshot_1891.png ignore and Screenshot_1892.png restore a transaction.
