Sales Process using your GolfSuite
To utilise the functions of our GolfSuite to their fullest potential, we recommend that you also start to consider the guests of the golfclub, resort, gym, etc., as potential customers, new members or returnees. We know how important it is to keep in contact with members as well as guests, which is why we wanted to put focus on a way to use your GolfSuite to document a sales process.
Customer Category
Alternative
Instead of using a customer category and customer sub categories it is also possible to give people in your databank tags like hot lead, cold lead, etc.
We recommend that you add another customer category to your golf club to keep guests, members and prospects separate. You can add a customer category called prospects to your overall categories and create any sub categories you find fitting, examples could be hot lead, cold lead, etc.
To create a customer category, you need to use the path:
Club management —> Managed Golfclubs —> Customer Classification —> Customer Categories
Here you can add a customer category using the .
For prospects, please do not check the box “Membership category”. The only mandatory input which is needed is the display name.
Once you have added an appropriate customer category, you can add a customer subcategory for your prospects. If you click on the name of your new customer category, you should be able to add a subcategory in the customer subcategory table below the customer category table.
You can add as many or few customer sub categories as you would need and you can always add more later if you discover that you will need more for your prospects.
Customer Tags and Memos
To keep up with your daily or weekly tasks, we suggest that you create and add customer tags to your prospects so you can easily search for the appropriate tag, indicating when you would need to call, write or meet up with the prospect.
You can supplement the customer tags by adding memos to the prospect as well. In the memos you can summarise past meetings, give a run down of why they are prospects, how to approach the individual prospect or give them other specialised notes.
Both functions can be found under Customers —> Customers & CRM. Under each respective prospect you can choose to write and read memos and add and delete customer tags.
Filtering for your tags
Path: Customers —> Customers & CRM
Clicking onin the top left corner will cause the filter function to open. You can choose to filter according to customer tag by using the following filter function:
Adding Tasks to your GolfSuite
Another way to make certain that you keep up with the upcoming tasks, could be to create a notification only for your user in your GolfSuite. These will show among your regular notifications, typically about birthdays, cooperation partner requests, etc.
To add an upcoming notification, you need to press on the notification button in the top left corner
This will show you a table containing your current notifications. Here you can add a new tasks using the plus in the bottom left of the table and filling out the following information:
Display name: Name of the task, e.g. Call Tiger Woods
Description: The description of the tag, e.g. Remind Tiger Woods about the offer from 24/5/19.
Assigned User: Which user should do this task?
Valid From: At what time can the task be done from?
Valid Until: Until when should the task be open if not marked as done?
Managed Golf Club: Which of your managed golf clubs is this task for?
This task will not show under the customer or in any other way be linked with the customer. It would therefore need to be paired with something else e.g. the memos to keep track of your meetings and calls.
