This tab serves to identify and clean up duplicates created (usually by guests booking their friends via our Marketplace).

Since this essentially means deleting a customer record, it is important to merge the correct customers and differentiate between the right Source and Target Customer.

To clarify this, click on the button in the upper right corner:

The Source Customer is the customer to be merged → this customer’s record will be cleaned.

The Target Customer is the customer in which you merge → this customer’s record will be updated.

Note

Do not delete customer records if avoidable. Always merge so Bookings, Memos, etc. are transferred to the “real” customer record. Before you can merge, you have to clean up the billing template (if existent) of the Source Customer. Else, you will get the following error message:

Identical Duplicates

In case you have multiple, identical duplicates, our system will automatically recognise them and show you each entry of this very customer, as shown in the screenshot below.

You may show the information or edit the record here. Also:

Clicking on this symbol next to the original (the Target Customer) will automatically merge every duplicate of this name into your Target Customer, saving time.

Once you are sure, press on the button “Merge Clients” to finish cleaning up all duplicates at once.

Now all the duplicates are cleaned up and you are left with the original customer record of your golf player.
