Overview

Under this Sub-Tab, you can define Article Aside Order Items (= Variations).

These can be defined to add a variation to an existing Product, which may or may not impact the price.

The selection is reflected directly in your POS-Ticket.

→ Click on this button to start adding a new Aside Item Group:

Define a Business unit and a Group Name (which are mandatory):

Click on asideOrderItemGroupName

Optional:

Click on this button to save the new Aside Item Group:

Click on  Save

Click on this button to edit an already existing Aside Item Group:

Click on highlight

Click on this button to save the changes:

Click on  Save

Click on this button to start deleting an Aside Item Group:

Click on highlight

Click on this button to delete an Aside Item Group permanently:

Click on Delete

Variations - Adding, changing, cloning and removing them

These are the selectable variations at the POS, which might or might not affect the price.

First, click on an already existing Aside Item Group:

Click on VariationsForDrinks

→ Click on this button to start adding a new variation:

Define the Aside Name (mandatory), the Aside Offset Price (mandatory, can be negative, positive or left blank for 0) and an Aside Description (optional):

Click on asideOrderItemName

→ Click on this button to save the new variation:

Click on  Save

→ Click on this button to edit an existing variation:

Click on highlight

You may choose a new Aside Item Group or change the existing one by clicking on this button:

Click on highlight

Chance anything about the Aside Item Group if required, then save (or cancel):

Click on Group Description

→ Click on this button to save the changes to the variation itself:

Click on  Save

→ Click on this button to clone an existing variation:

Click on highlight

The purpose of cloning is to get most data, edit the necessary values and then assign this variation to another Aside Item Group.
E.g. you have a lot of different drinks and the variations (1/4, 1/2, 1, … litre/liter) affect the price differently:

→ Click on this button to save the newly cloned variation:

Click on  Save

→ Click on this button to start the process of deleting a variation:

Click on highlight

→ Click on this button to delete a variation:

Click on Delete

You can not delete an already assigned variation - if you try, a new dialog window will let you know this variation can not be deleted.
